The Department of Health & Family Welfare is committed to provide proper delivery of health care services on a 24 X 7 basis to all citizens of the state through the different institutions and establishments under its control. The Department of Health & Family Welfare Government of West Bengal has constituted “ West Bengal Health Recruitment Board “.
The West Bengal Health Recruitment Board invites application from interested and eligible candidates for 2449 posts of Staff nurse, Grade II and 824 posts of Pharmacists, Grade III in the Family and Welfare department, Government of West Bengal.
Vacancy Details :
Total number of vacancies – 2449 (Unreserved-1184, SC-550, ST-182,BC category A-342, BC category B-123, PH-68).
Total number of vacancies – 824 (Unreserved-429, SC-181, ST-49, BC category A-82, BC category B-58, PH-25).
Pay scale :
For both Staff nurse grade II and Pharmacist grade III, the pay scale is Rs. 7100/- Rs.37600/- (PB 3, Gr. Pay – Rs. 3600/-).
Eligibility Criteria :
For Staff Nurse grade II, candidates must passed Nursing and midwifery certificate from any nursing training school recognized by West Bengal Nursing council and Indian Nursing council registered under West Bengal Nursing Council.
For Pharmacist grade III, candidates must passed Higher secondary examination (10+2) from West Bengal council of Higher secondary examination. In Higher secondary, the candidates must took the stream of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology and then the two year course of Diploma in Pharmacy and recognized by Government of West Bengal (Note : Should be registered as ’A’ category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy council).
For Staff nurse grade II, the age limit not more than 35 years and for Pharmacist grade III, the age limit not more than 32 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is given as per the rules for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
Application Fee :
Application fee is Rs.160, the amount should pay through Net banking or offline through bank counters in any branch of banks which are participating in the Government Receipt Portal System (GRIPS), Government of West Bengal.
Important dates :
Start date of online application : 24-02-2014.
End date of submitting application : 17-03-2014 (before 8PM).
Last date of submission of complete application form : 26-03-2014 (before 8PM).
